The Contender brand has long been associated with quality and performance--hardcore fishing boats for anglers unwilling to accept anything less than the best. Introduced in 2006, the Contender 28T is widely viewed as one of the best under-30-foot fishing boats on the market. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with a full transom and integral dive platform, the 28 T is rated for up to 600 horsepower--impressive for a boat this size. More
than just a go-fast fishing machine, however, the 28T incorporates several features that family boaters will enjoy including U-shaped bow seating, lockable side-entry console with finished head compartment, forward console seat, and a stern bench seat that folds away while fishing. For a 28-foot boat, there's a ton of storage in the 28T. Fishing features include a big 50-gallon transom livewell, in-floor 140-gallon insulated forward fish box, two 76-gallon insulated aft fish boxes, and forward in-deck rod lockers. K-Plane trim tabs, recessed bow rails, and a pop-up bow light are standard, Twin F300s can exceed 60 knots.

Her superior ride is due to increased running surface of the integrated transom which is more structurally sound because it's part of the hull and not a separate bolt-on bracket.
